Raindrop Pump and Well Suggestions:
- Yearly Bacteria test on both well and holding tanks.
- Fence well and cisterns (horses and cows should not be allowed in area to avoid contamination).
- Verify lids and covers on well and Cisterns are sealed tight not allowing and ground water to contaminate.
- Clean cisterns regularly to avoid sediment buildup (which promotes bacteria growth
- Do not plant large rooted trees within 25 ft of well or holding tanks
- Maintain adequate drainage away from both well and holding tanks
Water Problems:
Out of water, Have you checked.....
- A Leaky toilet..put red food coloring in tank and see if red color appears in bowl with out flushing
- Hose or a yard hydrant dripping
- Check the breaker box.... did a breaker flip off do you need a new fuse
